UPS Systems

Perform scheduled field maintenance of UPS systems. Testing and inspections will be performed in accordance with manufacturers' instructions and service manuals, ANSI/IEEE standards and Full Fill recommended standard maintenance guidelines for UPS systems.
Inspect UPS system for physical damage.
  • Compare equipment nameplate information and connections with single line diagram and report any discrepancies.
  • Check tightness of all control and power connections.
  • Perform transfer operation.
  • Measure contact resistance in normal and alternate source position.
  • Set and calibrate in accordance with manufacturer's literature.

                             - loss of emergency power
                             - return of emergency power
                             - return of normal power
  • SCRs for correct operation
  • Battery for correct voltage
  • Monitor and verify correct operation and timing of all relays
